Esther Wahome HSC is the first kenyan gospel artist to receive Presidential and State Honors Head of State Commendation Medal HSC. In the year 2001 Esther became the first Kenya musician to be featured in an international C.D Compilation,She joined Super League of African music when her song Furahia,From the album by the same name was picked in Europe and put in a compilation C.D titled “Stars of Afro Pop” Which featured Esther alongside the most popular musicians in Africa like Papa Wemba. Manu Dibango Yossour N’ Dour among others. This C.D was released internationally introducing Esther to millions of fun all over the world.
Esther Wahome's follow up album “KUNA DAWA”done in 2004 became a mega- hit in several countries, and was top in the radio and T.V charts for more than 2 years in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia D.R.Congo ,Rwanda,Burundi, Sudan South Africa Europe and America.
Esther Wahomes Album “Kuna Dawa” Sold over a million copies making it the highest in the Kenya music history and at Kisima Awards 2005, Esther was named the highest selling artist in Kenya. Esther has been invited many time to the statehouse in Kenya to perfomr for the president and other dignitaries.
In December 2005 the nation newspaper named and listed Esther Wahome among the movers and shakers of 2005, who left a mark on the Kenyan business map. Alongside high powered C.E.O’s like Michael Joseph MD Safaricom, Gerhard may C.E.O Celtel Kenya(Zain), and Titus Naikuni C.E.O Kenya Airway. This was due to her impact and success in the music industry.
Esther’s music was the first gospel music to become Mega hit in Night Clubs, Discotheques and other secular places, and has a big positive influence on both the very young and old.

Esther Wahome was Kenyans Nominee for the best female Gospel artist in Africa for 3 years in a row at the Kora All African music awards in 2004 and 2005.
She was selected in the year 2007 by D.S.T.V’s one gospel channel to do the Kiswahili part of the channels theme song and later presented East Africa during the Channels Launch in South Africa where she performed.
In July 2008 Esther was chosen to represent Africa in undo international C+ music festival in South Korea, a festival that had other big names from other continents perform on the same platform showing our different cultures and music genres.
Esther has also previously visited biblical places in Greece, and performed there, she has also performed in Sunderland where Pentecostalism begun in 1900 and has visited the largest church in the world which is headed by Dr. David Cho, in South Korea.
