In 2007 Esther Wahome HSC was awarded and honored with a certificate of recognition by hope worldwide and the Ministry of Health, for exemplary and dedicated humanitarian services and outstanding contribution during the campaign for blood donations.

In 2007 Esther Wahome HSC was awarded by Institute for Education in Democracy and the Electro Commission of Kenya for her crucial role during the ‘ViJana Tugutuke” initiative which went around the country teaching the youth on the importance of having a voters card, and voting during the elections.
